Why I Care About This
I didn’t stumble into running. I chose it. But I chose it after ballet chewed me up and spit me out.

Fifteen years in a leotard taught me that discipline meant shrinking, that bodies were problems to be managed, and that hunger was a virtue. When I hit the track in high school, my coach reinforced the same message: don’t trust your body, override it. Ignore pain. Push through. For years, running became a tool for control. Not freedom. Not joy.

Now? Running is how I come back to myself. It’s embodiment. It’s celebration. It’s Disney races in costume, joyful long runs, and sometimes, just getting my ya-yas out after a long-ass week.
I’ve been a runner for nearly 20 years, but my relationship with it has radically shifted in the last three. That shift is why I coach.

Because I know what it’s like to come back from injury. To unlearn perfectionism. To rewire your relationship with movement after disordered eating or overcontrol. And I know how much sweeter running feels when it isn’t about punishment.

I coach the folks who’ve been left out of “real runner” culture. Who are learning to trust their bodies again. Who want to feel powerful without burning out.

You don’t have to earn this space. You’re already in.

What Coaching Looks Like Here:
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all plan with a robot shouting splits at you. This is coaching that meets you where you are physically, emotionally, and logistically. Here’s what that means:
-
Tailored training plans that flex with your life and your body
-
Check-ins that focus on how you feel, not just what your Garmin spits out
-
Injury-informed, ED-aware guidance, so we don’t sacrifice longevity for performance
-
Mindset support for when the loudest voice is your inner critic, not your coach
Some days it’s about hitting a workout. Some days it’s about texting me that your run sucked. Either way, we’re doing it together.
